Dear OMTA members,

First of all I would like to thank each of you for your support over the past months.  If you were at the last membership meeting you know that OMTA is now proud to be hosting the annual Christmas Boat Parade.  The event that has generated good will and holiday spirit among boat owners will be revived for the first time since Hurricane Katrina.  For those of you who have participated in the past, not much has changed--for some this will be the first time parading.  This year we are inviting you to decorate your boat and either parade with us, or party at your slip.  The promenade simply allows everyone to participate whether they parade or not--it dresses our marina for the holidays, and encourages visitors to leisurely stroll the piers and take in the light show.

The Parade begins at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2007.

VHF channel # 68 will be utilized for parade communication.

1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes will be presented for power and sail categories

Registration is FREE
