As you know, the object of the attorneys who WANT short-term rentals is to change our zoning from single-family dwellings to a commercial zone so that their clients can make lots of money.
Last night's meeting was packed, mostly with those who don't want short-term rentals. I think the term "text change" referred to the possibility that people could ask for permits to have short-term rentals, but only in places with a different zoning that allows it.
Now it is up to our parish council to protect us. NO SHORT-TERM RENTALS.
